Here’s a list of what we have going on.
“Letters to Frieda” on WFMZ
The U.S. television premiere of “Letters to Frieda” will be on WFMZ-TV on January 27th, to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp. “Letters to Frieda” is a 30 minute documentary about an Allentown woman whose family was changed forever by the horrors of the Holocaust. Please tune in to help us preserve this important story; soon, there will be no more firsthand witnesses to those dark days of decades ago.
JFF at GLVFF
Julian Farris Films is honored to have three films in the 4th annual Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival, set for November 6-8 at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at ArtsQuest in Bethlehem. “Mayo Girl,” “Lighthouse Lady,” and “Aftershocks: Earthquake in Haiti” all made the cut.
And, ahem, allow us to toot our horn for just one second: “Aftershocks” was named best documentary at the festival. We’re honored that we were singled out among such an exclusive selection of illustrious filmmakers.
